From My Stores to Yours
My name is Leonne Stewart, founder of Carriage & Castles.
I created Carriage & Castles from scratch, with a vision to build a business centred around beautiful children’s occasionwear, exceptional customer service and being part of some of the most precious moments in a family’s life.
Over the years, I have built a strong foundation and a loyal customer base, growing Carriage & Castles tothree retail locations in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin.
The journey hasn’t always been easy.
Like so many businesses, we faced enormous challenges through Covid, but we adapted, worked hard and came through stronger.
As a retailer myself, I truly understand the pressures that come with running a retail business. I understand the cash-flow worries, committing to loans and stock, being responsible for a team and knowing that every month there are wages and bills that need to be paid.
I also understand those moments when things become overwhelming
Even through the hardest days, months and years, I have always believed in my brand and what I was building.
I kept going because I believed there was something special here — and today, I’m incredibly proud of what Carriage & Castles has become.
From starting the business from scratch to building three successful retail locations, I have experienced first-hand what works on the shop floor.
I know how important it is for retailers to invest in products that don't just look beautiful, but actually sell !!
A huge part of that success is our team. We have a wonderful group of ladies working across our stores who share my passion for the brand.
We have always prided ourselves on providing outstandingcustomer care, personal service and attention to detail.
Those values will remain at the heart of everything we do as we grow.
The Next Chapter — Carriage & Castles Wholesale
Introducing wholesale feels like the beginning of a very exciting new chapter for Carriage & Castles.
Before bringing these collections to other retailers, we had the opportunity to try and test them in our own stores.
We saw first-hand what our customers loved, which styles they were drawn to and, most importantly, what actually sold.
In our first year selling these styles, we simply couldn’t get enough of them.
That experience gave me the confidence to take the next step.
I want to offer our stockists something more than another beautiful collection. I want to offer products that have already been tested in a genuine retail environment — combining beautiful quality, timeless design and affordable price points with real sales potential.
Your Success Matters to Me
One of the things I’m most excited about is seeing Carriage & Castles sitting proudly in stores other than our own.
But what will make me even happier is hearing from a stockist saying:
“We’ve sold out — we need to replenish.”
That is what success looks like to me.
I want to know that Carriage & Castles hasn’t simply looked beautiful in your store, but has brought new customers, strong sales and repeat business through your doors.
As a retailer myself, I understand that every piece of stock is an investment.
That’s why I want our wholesale partners to feel confident that there is genuine retail knowledge and experience behind the
Carriage & Castles brand.
Our aim is to build long-term relationships with our stockists and grow alongside them.
Beautiful Pieces. Lasting Memories.
Quality has always been incredibly important to me.
I want our christening pieces to feel luxurious and special while remaining affordable for families. These are outfits purchased for one of the most meaningful days in a child’s life, and I believe they should be made to be treasured.
Our hope is that a Carriage & Castles outfit isn’t worn just once.
It is carefully packed away, treasured and one day passed down to another generation.
From starting Carriage & Castles from scratch, to opening three stores, overcoming challenges and now launching our wholesale collection,
I am incredibly excited about what comes next.
